Help us Keep Sailing Affordable and Accessible for All in Rhode Island
Who:
Community Boating Center (CBC) is a 501c3 non-profit, offering all members of the community an opportunity to sail and paddle. Located in India Point Park in Providence, CBC provides outreach, sailing lessons and affordable access to the Providence waterfront. CBC offers youth summer sailing camps, after-school programs, adult evening classes, waterfront “Sailebration” sailing parties and facility rentals, and youth scholarships for children of financial need.
What:
– Charity Golf Outing to Benefit Community Boating Center
– Greens Fee & Donation – $150 per golfer
– 18 Hole Scramble (Foursomes)

Our Mission
CBC’s core mission is to provide instruction and access to recreational sailing and boating for all, with an emphasis on children, without regard to financial situation. We will do so by providing programs to build self-esteem, broaden horizons, and advance environmental awareness. CBC will nurture a true sense of community in which the diversity of the urban environment is respected and encouraged.
